Samsung Galaxy Nexus coming within Q4 of this year in the Philippines and 5 other Asian countries. what do we have here? The Samsung Galaxy Nexus, according to Samsung itself, is expected and scheduled to be launched in the Philippines and five other Asian countries within Q4 of 2012. These countries include Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, and Vietnam. The smartphone, a Pure Google device, is already announced in the US and in the UK. Actually Clove UK is already accepting pre-orders of the device. For those who are in these Asian countries, this is good news, I am pretty sure. With regards to pricing. Clove in the UK is offering the handset for £514.80 (VAT included) for an unlocked 16GB Galaxy Nexus. Converting that to Philippine Pesos means that the next iteration of the Pure Google phone with Android 4.0 ICS will cost right around 3Php 4,000 - Php 36,000. Hopefully though, things will be a bit brighter with the pricing and lets keep our fingers crossed that the official Phil. price for the handset will be lower than that range I wrote. To Google and Samsung, prove me wrong.
